How did the Balfour declaration affect Palestinians and Jews?
The Balfour Declaration was a formal statement by the British government that was supposed to help establish a Jewish homeland. However, the vast majority of the land of Palestine instead became a Muslim country — Transjordan (now Jordan) in 1922! Thus, current day Israel is only ~20% of the land that was Palestine prior to 1922. And now, the Arabs want to add that tiny piece of land to the nearly two dozen countries that they already control.
