How did the Admissions Selection Committee make their Admissions Decisions?
Rather than examining a candidate’s academic record or personal achievements in isolation, the full spectrum of an applicant’s qualifications were considered, as well as the overall strength of Texas A&M University’s freshman applicant pool. The information reported in the application, essays A and B, and any supplemental information, including a resume, essay C, or letters of recommendation, were considered along with each applicant’s academic profile.
