How did Tall Stacks arrive at its ticket prices? What does the ticket price include?
Each ticket not only covers the basic cruise package, including a small profit for the boat owner, but state sales tax where applicable, ticketing costs and the expense of bringing the riverboats to Cincinnati from their home ports. Each cruise ticket also includes general admission to the festival for the day of the cruise. Additionally, costs of running the festival have increased since 2003. Tall Stacks is produced by a non-profit corporation, which must recover all of its costs.
