How did SoldierFund start?
It started with a news report on 60 Minutes © on CBS © highlighting how certain military families sent equipment to the troops fighting in Iraq. Later that year, there was a news report in the Bay Area local News station KTVU © that featured the difficulty a military family was facing during the period of physical therapy for the injured soldier. These events prompted the beginning of SoldierFund and it’s purpose is to benefit the families, and extended families, of those who have a military background.
