How did Roy Dupuis win the part of Michael?
Joel Surnow was just beginning to do his casting for LFN. A headshot picture of Roy Dupuis was submitted as a possibility. Surnow said that was how he’d visualized his Michael would look, but was hesitant about Dupuis, as he was not familiar with any of Roy’s work. After viewing Screamers and Million Dollar Babies, an interview was arranged. Surnow was in his office waiting for Roy when he looked out the window and saw him. He knew immediately he had his Michael!!!
