How did rome and greece influence modern society with its government structures?
Little of ancient greece’s political structure survives today except the concept of democracy. Rome, however contributed quite significantly to our understanding of the role of government, and how it should be conducted. Included in the role is that of taxes, public works projects, infrastructure development, standing militaries, incorporation and embracement of conquered territories, and many others.
