How did Queen Victoria become Queen?
Queen Victoria was made Queen by ancestry. She was the granddaughter of King George III. After his son( and Victoria’s Uncle) William IV she was the next in line to the throne. William IV did not like Victoria’s mother and so he did everything he could to stay alive past Victoria’s 18th birthday so that Victoria would not need to have a regent rule in her favor.
