How did Pintar-Pintar Editorial come about?
Pintar-Pintar Editorial was founded two years ago as a children’s art studio directed by Ester Sánchez. As time passed and without losing sight of its original objectives, other activities have been incorporated under its brand-name. One is the publishing branch and another the graphic design studio. Q: What is your line of publishing? A: Illustrated books, where much care and attention is paid to graphic content and illustrations. We have three lines of publications: children’s picture books in hard back, illustrated educational books for children and books in sewn paperback with a little more text for first readers (6-8 years). Q:Ester Sánchez appears as the illustrator for some of your publications. What is her background? A: Ester is the author and illustrator of a few of our books – one of which is the prize-winning book mentioned here.
