How did Pete Rose justify himself for gambling on baseball games?
listen to this story,i live in montreal canada,at one time we did have a very good team,the expos now the nationals,but im sure you know that.anyway here goes,i was 18 and my family was out for dinner at this restaurant called RUBY FOOS,great restaurant lots of action,a typical wiseguy place,very upscale.all the players from all the teams used to go there.anyway,im sitting at our table and i see the infield for the reds PERES,MORGAN,BENCH,ROSE and i forget the shortstops name,i went over there to get thier autographs,they were all very cool and nice,everybody signed except for ROSE.from that one chance encounter i see why he should never be reinstated,hes a real *****,to big to be bothered.well thats my story,he never justified his betting on baseball.
