How did people predict weather before the advent of modern weather equipment and computers?
People would rely largely on their instincts, remembering what the air would “feel like” before a storm or a rain. As it became more of a science, early meteorologists would use their ability to recognize specific types of clouds, the direction and speed of the wind, and other weather indications to attempt to predict what the weather would be like in the near future.
