How did people make houses in the neolithic period?

0

The type of houses built depended on the location. People in northern europe built hearth houses, which were huts with one round room and a fire in the centre and the smoke going out a thatched or shingled roof which slanted to let the rain run off. In Egypt and Asia because of the heat houses were mud built which consisted of a wall going around a courtyard and some rooms running off. These were called courtyard houses and had flat roofs to sleep on when it was hot. Other houses were made out of caves and evidence of habitation still exists today. Hope this helps….
