How did Paint Away Days start?
It was started by Sarah Ingle. She says ” I wanted to go painting outside but I was not comfortable with going and painting by myself, especially in some of the more remote places. As I couldn’t find a group of like-minded people, a friend suggested that I invite other artists to come and paint in our garden. But as Cornwall is full of wonderful places to go and paint, this led to the idea of arranging painting days for people at different locations.
