How did Oscar Wildes life influence his works?

1

Oscar Wilde’s mother was a poet. His first fiance left him for Bram Stoker (Dracula) and his second fiance died after a botched surgery. He was always attracted to men, sexually, but preferred young “rent boys” (tradesman) as opposed to those in his own circle. He was witty and cruel, charming and sarcastic. He was arrested for gross indecency, served 2 years in prison and died penniless. I think he garnered from his own debauchery for many of his poems and plays.
