How did Obama observe the National Day of Prayer?
According to Fox News, President Obama recognized the national event with a paper proclamation. According to the White House, the president choose to observe this event privately. “I think the president understands, in his own life and in his family’s life, the role that prayer plays,” says Robert Gibbs, White House spokesman. “And I would denote that the administrations prior to the past one did proclamations.
