How did NACE get started?
Six universities joined forces, with the University of California as the leading university, to create NACE. They saw the need of creating a specialized business degree to teach young entrepreneurs how to run business with their NAFTA neighbors. Also, based on the fact that small businesses have a big leverage in all three of the NAFTA countries, NACE wants to teach students international entrepreneurship. Since 2004, the student exchange started at California State University.
