How Did My Warm Vanilla Sugar Candle from White Barn Smell?
Warm Vanilla Sugar is a dreamy scent and utterly beautiful to me. I’ve tried my fair share of duplicates and nothing compares to the real McCoy in my opinion. The scent description on Bath & Body Works website for this fragrance is: “Vanilla, coconut and basmati rice are blended with a touch of soft sandalwood in this rich and cozy scent.” I had never heard of basmati rice before so I “Googled” it and this is what I found out: Basmati rice means the “queen of fragrance or the perfumed one.” This type of rice has been grown in the foothills of the Himalayas for thousands of years. It’s perfumy, nut-like flavor and aroma can be attributed to the fact that the grain is aged to decrease its moisture content. Basmati, a long-grained rice with a fine texture is the costliest rice in the world and has been favored by emperors and praised by poets for hundreds of years.
