How did Michael Jacksons music video for Thriller get so popular?
Michael Jackson saw Thriller and the way he wanted to perform it years before he made it, although he’d no idea of the ‘werewolf concept, and was totally ‘blown away’ by the costumes and make-up. As for the dancers, the choreography took months to get just right, with each dancer having to exactly get the jump routine timed just right and the height of the ‘jumps’ levels perfect with each seperate dancer. Taking all this into account, the fantastic result, incredible music, and of course MJ’s talent, what else could the video and music do but to ‘thrill’ audiences everywhere. It was/is amazing even today. Earth song video/song is also one of his greats, and amazing imagery.
