How did MGM Wireless invent and pioneer SMS text based Automated Attendance Communication Solutions for Schools?
Resulting from extensive market research the company carried during 2001, MGM Wireless identified the growing difficulty Schools were experiencing contacting hard-to-reach Parents and Caregivers. This was the impetus for MGM Wireless to create the technology that would bring School-Parent communication into the twentieth century. MGM Wireless initially partnered with five schools in its home state of South Australia to trial its products and services. Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent that schools had very specific, specialised and complex requirements – very different to those of the corporate sector, and the company’s existing product suite – while comprehensive – lacked many functional and other requirements needed by schools.
