In 1997 the business of the company was sold to NASDAQ listed, Boston based Kronos Inc, one of the world’s most successful software companies With the growth in mobile phone acceptance, in 1998, the founders of MGM Wireless, CEO Mark Fortunatow and CTO Mark Hurd in 2001 recognised the opportunity mobile phones presented to businesses enterprises.
