How did Marla become a pet psychic?
It all began with her dreams that featured her grandmother reporting on her fathers health. When Grandma told her that her Father was ill, Marla had her father go back to the hospital to double check the results of a biopsy. Although the results had turned out negative, meaning no cancer, her grandma reappeared in Marlas dream telling her that Pa was under the pressure of cancer. When Marla had Pa go in for a second biopsy, they found cancer. While caring for her dad in Arizona, Marla sensed that her horse back in Marin was sick. She returned, but the horse was fine. Two weeks after her return to Arizona, she received a phone call from Colin telling her that the horse was in fact sick. Marla returned to Marin and took the sick horse to U.C. Davis.
