How did Lisa K get started?
A long time ago on a different coast, Lisa K was formally trained in education and taught High School students where she learned temperance. After about 5 years of this she transitioned her food expertise to become an independent food consultant working with many of the major food suppliers and manufacturers. After a few years she settled down with the worlds largest food service company as the Manager of Recipe Development (chances are you have tasted her creations). As new products and recipes were developed she worked with many of the top Food Photographers on promotional materials. It is here that she developed her skills in lighting, composition and capturing in film that desire to eat a burger or salad from the experts in the field. A few years later, Lisa K gave up the corporate life of politics and business suites and with her family, moved to the west coast to hone her skills behind the camera and to work directly with the community.
