How did Lil America Builders get its name?
Back in the ’80’s, Butch wrestled at length with the problem of naming his newly formed company. Nothing seemed quite right. And, time moved on while the company remained nameless. Finally, when it came time to print the checks, Butch knew he needed to make an executive decision pronto. Then it hit him! “How about Lil’ America Builders?” he asked. Where did that come from? We stood in amazement — not knowing he was reading Rob Swigert’s book, Little America, at the time. How about that!
