How did Kurt Cobain change music?

First off, kudos to you for being a great fan of KC. I am, too. Kurt Cobain was the absolute grunge idol in the nineties to teens and young adults everywhere. He spoke to them in a way that can only be described as personally. He understood our situations, because he went through them. The way he wrote and sang songs was amazing and unique. Although Smells Like Teen Spirit was their biggest hit, Nirvana’s legacy will live on forever through all of their songs. Some song meanings go very deep, others skim the surface of topics, others were written in fifteen minutes. All spoke to us. All understood how we felt. Kurt was a very individual person, unlike anyone else. The way he thought, the way he presented himself and the way he didn’t give a sh*t made him admirable to his generation. He wasn’t out for worldwide fame or a way to get cash. He wanted to play music, and play it well. And let me tell you, he succeeded. Peace, Love, Empathy, Kurt Cobain.
