How did KB Home decide to use Guardian’s Roof Anchor System?
Working with ADOSH, I knew I wanted to take a proactive approach to fall protection. I began my search for an anchor company and Guardian’s distinguished reputation led me to them. They showed me the Roof Anchor System which I found best met our needs. I asked Guardian if they were interested in getting into the residential roofing arena with the system which they were eager about. Next we discussed creating a training program to complement the system and roll-out the program on a national level. We knew we had tapped into something good. Where is the program at currently? KB Home is undergoing a “10 week deployment” during which we will visit our 27 national divisions to educate them on the program and get everyone on the same page. We have developed manuals for all divisions to ensure states are interpreting policy correctly; one policy, one procedure.
