How did Joseph Stalin hold his power?
Following the Russia Revolution in 1917, Joseph Stalin held his power using propaganda, fear, and manipulation. He had his propaganda department make posters and convince people of things that werent true. Also, he threatened that bad things would happen if he was not leading. He also had many ways of manipulating things to his advantage that made it easier for him to rule.
