How did joan of arc become a saint?
I read this book and it said that she heard God calling her to join the army. But, women weren’t allowed to join the army. But she then cut off her hair, and joined. She was judged a lot, but she trusted in God. Later after she really helped her country win the the war, she was arrested. She was because she told people of her visions of God. At the prison she got told that if she took off the boy’s clothes and put on the dress they gave her, and if she said that she was lying about hearing God, she would be let go. God told her not to, so she refused to do either. She was then burned at the stake for being a martyer for her faith. She is the patron saint of athletic girls, and many other thing. Later on, she became a saint.
