How did Jesus hint about reincarnation?
The Bible and Jesus hint at reincarnation in the idea that the “flesh shall be raised again.” With what modern science has told us, this would require the atoms of a person’s body to be re-assembled, yanking them all out from the various distant places to which they have all been transported by natural processes. If vultures have eaten a certain carcass, then those vultures have been eaten by something else, and so on, all the atoms will need to be chased down and brought together. Failing this, a new collection of atoms can be brought together for the soul to inhabit, looking exactly like the former body. This is indeed the doctrine of reincarnation, with the sole difference that the body takes on a new appearance while the soul remains the same. The soul retains all its likes and dislikes, prejudicial tendencies and foolishness, spiritual wisdom and longing for God between births.
