How did it feel to be inducted into the University of Maine Hall of Fame?
Coach P: It was incredible to be back, to meet back with even the media that I worked with at Maine and to see the faces of people you haven’t seen in 15 years was incredible. The whole experience was something I will never forget. I believe there were eight inductees and I was the only female and that was kind of interesting. We made jokes about that but it was incredible and I couldn’t believe what all these other people had done. I had not known them during my time at Maine, so it was a pretty educational experience to be inducted. My entire family was there from Maine, my kids could not come nor could John because of my kid’s school here, but I had former players there, my high school coach, junior high coach and a variety of supporters from the University of Maine. We had a wonderful event afterwards a private event where we all went to a restaurant and got together so it was incredible.
