How did Hitler challenge and exploit the treaty of Versailles in the period between 1933-1938?
Hitler was a very determined man, he wanted Germany to be a great, powerful nation again. He, like other German people hated the Treaty and thought it was extremely unfair. So in 1933, he took Germany out of thew League of Nations, at the same time he began rearming Germany. In 1934, he tried to take over Austria but was prevented by Mussolini. MATHS DEBATE. Also in 1936, he importantly sent troops into the Rhineland, which had been banned by the Treaty, after the Paris Peace conference to help the French, who were worried about Germany invading them.
