• Pat was at Celtic Park between September 1, 1976 and August 5, 1978 when he was forced to retire through an injury received at Tannadice against Dundee United. He played 37 league games and seven Scottish Cup ties for Celtic without finding the net. In his first season he won League Championship and Scottish Cup winner’s medals to go with the League Cup winner’s medal he had won in 1972 as Hibs skipper.
