How did GGG become an organization?
Many of the GGG leadership worked together on ballot initiatives and growth control measures in the late 1980s and early 1990s. They successfully defeated measures X & Y and prevented a “new city” at the entrance to Napa.The group gained momentum during the update of the City of Napa General Plan to promote infill, prevent sprawl, and promote Smart Growth principles.
