How did geography affect culture in Latin America?
Geography in Latin America played many roles. The furtile soils of the central mexico area were great for farming and crop growing. The mountainous region also had good soil, but the terrain was much more rigid, so the people of the area had to adapt to the different climate and hills. Other factors that affected culture were: societies near the ocean and those inland, cultures in dry regions vs. the tropical regions, and many other factors. Look into early latin american religions… you’ll find that many focused on gods of weather and crop growing. Also, many desert animals played major roles in thier faith too. Good luck!
