– Rod not only played fullback, he also worked out at the halfback spot because of his quickness, good vision and how smooth he is. One thing he will need to work on to be a very good fullback, is his blocking. Since we are talking about fullback, I have to say, although Rod pushed Dennis McKinley for the number one fullback position, McKinley proved that he is the number one fullback because he is an excellent blocker who will be very good in the tough short yardage situations. • How did the offensive line look? – The offensive line will be a strength of this club because of it’s size and speed.
