CARVER COUNTY, Minn. – SkyFOX 9 was called in to help Carver County Sheriff’s deputies nab an armed robber Saturday. Deputies started chasing two men in Waconia after responding to a call of a robbery at a Kwik Trip convenience store. The store’s clerk said that a man came in with his face covered in a bandana pointed a gun at him and demanded money and cigarettes. The robber then took off in a car with another man. Sheriff’s deputies caught up with the car quickly after, when the men fled on foot through a cornfield. SkyFOX 9 was there when deputies arrested one of the suspects. Investigators told FOX 9 that they found the gun they believe was used in the robbery, as well as the cash and cigarettes while searching the suspects’ car and the farm field.
