How did Feed The Needy Children start?
Bishop Davis A. Williams, Evangelist, Founded Feed the Needy Children Inc. in August, 2006. Feed the Needy Children, was born after Davis and his wife Edith A. Williams visited the highest poverty areas in Ghana, West Africa: the Western Region, Volta Region, and the Northern Region. After seeing so much suffering of children in poverty, they began to wonder how many other children on the globe were hungry and what they could do about it. They felt convicted to help out in a basic but unique way, beyond sending their contributions to various charities around the world. Returning to Los Angeles, California, Davis and Edith compared the abundance of food in America, and how blessed America is. From that idea; Feed the Needy Children Inc. was born.
