How did Entrepreneur Outfitters get started?
In government contracting. In 2003 a group of activated reservists and government contractors formed the Broadspere Group, LLC. It took us 8 months and over 500 hours to figure out how to set up a government contracting company…again, the checklist pairs that down to about 6-8 weeks and 25 hours. Within 18 months we exceeded $1M in revenue. In less than three years we were acquired by Applied Research Associates, Inc. (an EXCELLENT science and engineering firm). Government contracting provided us the liquidity for our subsequent ventures.
