How did each of the POG girls become Christians?
A. Denise I grew up with Godly parents and around Godly grandparents. I knew from the beginning of my life that there was a God who loved me. When I was six years old I begin to realize that I was a sinner and needed a savior. I wasn’t going to go to heaven just because I was a good girl. I talked to my parents about it; my dad took me to meet with my pastor. It was there that I prayed to receive Jesus into my life. Shelley I grew up in church, really never believing anything other than the gospel of Jesus Christ, but I didn’t make a public profession of my faith until I was 13 years old after I had gone through confirmation class. Then, when I was in the 10th grade, I went to a church camp with my friend and learned more about what it meant to have a personal relationship with Christ. This was a real turning point for me.
