this one didn’t really evolve, Lenin never trusted the Peasent, so he always intended to have a ruthless controlled gov’t and Stalin wanted to make sure it was him in charge so he only allowed Lenin to survive untill he was sure he would have the power over any other successor, like trotsky or the few others that might have.
