How did Christianity made the official religion of the Roman Empire?
He was the first Roman Emperor to declare himself Christian at the age of 40 (pretty old for that time)… Prior to that the Roman Emperor was the head of the Pagan religion as the official religion. Constantine hold both titles and is mostly responsible for the melding of the Christian and Pagan religions into modern Catholisim.
