How did cavemen make cave paintings?
They used finely ground stone or sand mixed with animal fat. Some cave paintings were painted with animals blood or stains made by plant dies. They used a bone tool, much like an ink Pen you would use today. They took a Leg Bone of an animal and carved one end of it into a diagnal point. The Inside of the inner bone, “the bone marrow”, is like a spounge and full of holes. The inside was used to soak up the die/paint/blood and the outer bone was to give stability. They would draw a picture like we would with a pen or pencil. Some times they just used their hands.
