Cheryl and Vic prepared for this venture somewhat unknowingly. In the summer of 2006 they read Kim Meeder’s book, Hope Rising and realized God had put everything in place for them to minister to kids thru horses. In December of that year they had the first kids come out to the ranch and work with the horses.
