How did Australian womens roles change during WW2?
Australian women’s roles changed during WW2 because all the men would usually be doing all the work, doing their jobs while the women would stay at home being the house wife. When WW2 began, all the men had to go out and fight, which meant the women had to continue with the duties that the men would usually undertake. Women contributed to the war effort by being nurses, creating uniforms, medial tasks which often required little effort, but helped a lot. E.g. – sewing stuff up, assembling stuff, etc. not sure about question 3 not sure about question 4 either, but i think they were paid next to minimum wage back then. OR they were paid the same as men as it was in a time of need and the government needed women to help out. Check your text book or the internet for that.
