How did aqueducts make life easier for the romans?
They didn’t make life easier – they made life possible to begin with. Rome was a BIG place – certainly one of the biggest cities in the world – but it wouldn’t have lasted very long without a good, constant supply of fresh water. Rich Romans saw it as their civic duty to build the big aqueducts into Rome so that each aqueducts had the name of the prominent citizen who had put the money for it.
