How did ancient romans communicate their sacred stories?

Through various ways. 1) Through direct communication. As a previous answerer put it, Person A tells Person B, and so on. 2) Through artwork. Depictions of Roman Gods or Goddesses or mythical battles were painted or shown through mosaics in various Roman homes. The painting of vases was actually Greek. The Romans likely copied them, though. 3) The prime method, though, was through written scrolls. The prime “sacred story” of Rome is the Aeneid, by Virgil, written in during the reign of Augustus. After Constantine’s conversion to Christianity, you can add the Bible (and specifically the New Testament) to the list of “sacred scrolls” the Romans read, or had interpreted to them through the Church.
