How did Adam and Eve populate the world without having sex with their own children?
The suggestion that “Adam and Eve” had “sex with their own children” is ridiculous. A woman can only carry the child of one man at a time…Eve already had Adam to provide for her “reproductive needs”…what would have been the point of her having sex with one of her sons when she could have sex with Adam and produce all the children she was physically capable of producing? Now perhaps Adam could have impregnated his daughters…but not his sons…and how long would those sons have put up with allowing Adam to be the only one allowed to father children??? I don’t believe Adam and Eve is a metaphor for some alien species that mingled their DNA with the DNA of indigenous human species. That part of your speculation seems quite silly to me…if those hypothetical aliens wanted us to know about them, they were certainly capable of communicating their existence and nature to us…so why doesn’t the bible provide even the smallest hint that your speculation is true…at least a suggestion so
