How did 20th-century music help society?
I concur with the thought process that you should do your own homework. But since you’re obviously lazy, I’ll give my 2 cents and take my 2 points. Thank you. 20th century music helped shape society as a whole. You had the bands of the 50’s who revolutionized music with the jitterbug and poodle skirts, etc. The music of my grandparents was considered crazy, ruthless, and weird at the time. The 60’s (*sigh* the 60’s…the time I should have been in my 20’s). I’ll tell you what, go and Google Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Jefferson Airplane, Doobie Bros., and anyone who played at Woodstock really, and then answer that question. Not only did they perfect their actual talent, but they gave personality to the music of that decade and gathered masses for change. I can guarantee you that many of today’s politicians were yesterdays dirty hippies. Music has given us a reason to be happy, sad, angry, and supportive. It’s led armies, helped us describe exactly how we’re feeling, and taken us away fr
