How dependable are the 2002 ford mustangs?
Every vehicle is only as dependable as it has been treated & maintained. Best check it out carefully as those cars have been known to be abused by the motorheads out there. Never buy one that has enhancements, pedals, shifter, tires/rims, intake etc, etc as someone put those parts there to use them and the car will probably have current/future issues. If it’s in good STOCK condition and the owner has good maintenance records and you get it checked out by your mechanic you will probably be o/k. One note though, If you live in a climate where you get snow you should think of buying a winter beater as Mustangs are horrible to drive in the winter even with snow tires.
