How Delhi University is incorporating information and communication technology (ICT) in its teaching/learning processes?
We have lot more emphasis on computer based learning. We have started ILLL (Institute of Life Long Learning), e-Books, e-Exams, e-Material, e-Quizzes and e-Lectures. So, technology is going to be major component of our teaching-learning processes. In fact, we are now in discussion with agencies like C-DAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing) to convert our whole open learning into ICT based learning. I think in the next 2-3 years you will see DU offering more ICT-based open learning courses rather than correspondence type courses. What are the reforms and initiatives required to bring Delhi University at par with the best universities in the world? You have to have research of same standard as these universities do.
