This depends upon the height and type of tree being installed but usually a 5″ – 6″ embed depth is sufficient for interior trees. Larger bolts would be needed for exterior applications. The bolts need to come out approximately 3″ above the concrete for the nuts and washers. Excess length can be cut off afterwards if necessary.
