How deep do the acupuncture needles go?
The depth of the insertion varies according to your body type, the condition being treated, and the location where the needle is being inserted. Usually the needles are inserted between 1/8th to 1/2 inch deep but if you didnt look at them you would never know. It is important to know that the acupuncture needle does not cut the skin like a hypodermic needle.
